Many clinics and distributors reach a point where stocking other brands is no longer enough, and they want a booster line that carries their own name. Boosters Only supports this through OEM/ODM projects with Korean manufacturers, starting from 2,000 pcs. This article explains the two routes, what you need to prepare, and how a project is organised from brief to export.
OEM or ODM: which route fits you
The difference comes down to who owns the formula. With OEM, you bring the formula or specification, and Boosters Only sources a certified Korean manufacturer to produce it under your brand. With ODM, you choose a proven formula that is already in production, then add your own branding and packaging.
- OEM: your formula or specification, produced by a Korean manufacturer from our network, filled in vials, ampoules or syringes.
- ODM: a ready formula in any of the five categories (pigmentation, regeneration, lifting, moisturizing, scalp and hair), with custom packaging and labeling.
- Both routes start from 2,000 pcs.
ODM is usually the faster way to market because the formula already exists. OEM suits buyers who have a specific specification they want to keep under their own control.
A note on third-party brands
Private label means a new product under your name, made by a Korean manufacturer. It does not mean relabelling a brand that someone else owns. Products such as Rejuran Healer belong to their own brand owners and cannot be private-labelled. What you can build is a booster like Rejuran Healer in concept, for example a regeneration booster in your own range, developed through the OEM or ODM route. Our catalogue products remain available separately for wholesale ordering.
How a project is organised
Boosters Only matches you with a suitable Korean manufacturer and personally manages the project. The process runs in five stages:
- Brief and NDA: you share your target market, concept and expected volume.
- Formula and samples: manufacturer proposals and lab samples.
- Packaging and design: vial, box and label artwork is approved.
- Production and QC: manufacturing with batch testing.
- Export: documents are prepared and the goods are shipped.
Taken together, a project typically runs 10 to 16 weeks from brief to export. Your own approvals, especially on artwork, will influence the real schedule.
What to prepare before you contact us
A clear brief saves time in the first stage. Think through the following before you write to the team:
- Target market and the country where the product will be sold.
- The category you want to build in, and whether you have a formula or specification.
- Preferred format: vials, ampoules or syringes.
- Expected volume per order, with 2,000 pcs as the starting point.
- Branding and packaging ideas, including the language of the labels.
Registration rules differ by country and product type, and many countries require product or importer registration before customs clearance. Check requirements with your local regulator early. Boosters Only supplies the manufacturer documents your registration needs.
Documents and shipping
Every order ships with a commercial invoice and a packing list. A Certificate of Analysis, MSDS or SDS, Certificate of Free Sale and Certificate of Origin are available on request. We trade on FCA Korea (Incoterms 2020): we pack the order, clear it for export and hand it to the carrier in Korea, after which freight, import duties and import clearance are handled by you. Temperature-controlled packing is available on request.
