PDRN and PN are the two names buyers hear most in the Korean regeneration category. They come from the same source material, but they are made and positioned differently, and clinics usually want both on the shelf.
Same origin, different length
Both are built from purified DNA fragments, most often derived from salmon. PDRN (polydeoxyribonucleotide) uses shorter fragments with a lower molecular weight. PN (polynucleotides) keeps longer chains, which gives a thicker, more viscous product.
That difference in chain length is the main reason the two are marketed for different jobs, even though they sit in the same category.
How clinics tend to use them
- PDRN boosters are usually positioned for skin repair and recovery, for example after lasers or microneedling.
- PN boosters are usually positioned for texture, fine lines and delicate areas such as under the eyes.
- Many clinics run courses that combine both, so they reorder them together.
What to stock first
If you are building a regeneration range from scratch, start with one PDRN and one PN product from the same manufacturer. It keeps documents and reorders simple, and it lets your clinics compare results within one brand.
Ask for the pack format your clinics prefer (vials or prefilled syringes), and check the minimum order quantity for each before you commit to both.
Check the registration in your market
In some countries these products are registered as cosmetics, in others as medical devices or drugs. That changes who can buy them and which documents you need. Confirm the status with your local regulator before ordering, and we can supply the manufacturer documents your registration needs.
